Minel Global Engineering participated in the 7th International Conference on Railway Technology: Research, Development, and Maintenance, held in Budapest from 23 to 26 August 2026.
Representing Minel, Petar Milković and Ivan Aleksić joined researchers and railway industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in railway technology.
The conference covered topics closely related to work at Minel Center of Excellence, including pantographs, pantograph-catenary interaction, structural analysis, and advanced methods for modelling, simulation, and component testing, with a broader focus on improving the reliability and safety of railway systems.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange expertise, gain new perspectives on railway research, and strengthen existing connections with academic and industry partners, including the University of Huddersfield and Politecnico di Milano, fostering cooperation and new opportunities in railway engineering.
