Minel Global Engineering participated in InnoTrans 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology, held in Berlin from 22 to 25 September 2026. This 30th fair edition brought together around 175,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries, highlighting the global scale of the railway and transport industry.
Minel Global Engineering participated in the 7th International Conference on Railway Technology: Research, Development, and Maintenance, held in Budapest from 23 to 26 August 2026. Representing Minel, Petar Milković and Ivan Aleksić joined researchers and railway industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in railway technology.
The pantograph painting process has been fully integrated into Minel India’s production process, introducing a controlled approach to surface protection and ensuring durable corrosion resistance and consistent quality. The implementation was supported on site by Dušan Stanković from the Quality Assurance Department in Serbia, helping transfer the established process and know-how to the Indian production team.
Minel’s team recently spent five days in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting the upgrade of pantographs on Stadler trams to the latest revision across 25 vehicles. The technical work was carried out by Zvonko Milovanović and Branko Kljajić, whose expertise in pantograph assembly and maintenance contributed to the successful implementation of the upgrades.

Minel India has successfully implemented the shot-blasting process as an essential step in preparing pantograph components for painting and long-term corrosion protection. The implementation was supported on site by Dušan Stanković from Serbia. This process improves surface preparation, ensuring strong paint adhesion and enhanced corrosion resistance.
CEO Goran Volf and COO Dušan Matić recently visited Minel India to strengthen collaboration across the company’s international operations and support the development of local production activities. The visit focused on aligning operational processes, supporting production development, and reinforcing the shared standards that connect the company’s locations in Serbia, India and South Africa.

As part of its ongoing support for Indian Railways, Minel India conducted a technical training session for senior management, engineers, and technicians from the Pantograph and Pneumatic Section of the Electric Loco Shed Bokaro (South Eastern Railway).
Minel Global Engineering has successfully completed the second surveillance audit for ISO 22163:2023 (IRIS), reaffirming its commitment to the highest railway quality standards. The audit conducted by TÜV SÜD on 23–24 June 2026, was led by Lead Auditor Gerald Jungwirth and Auditor Martin Drobits.
Colleagues from Minel Global Engineering recently visited Minel Ujantshi in South Africa to strengthen collaboration, review ongoing activities, and discuss the next phase of development.
