In Eskişehir, Turkey, from 20–23 April 2026, the Minel Global Engineering team was hosted by TÜRASAŞ for a dedicated Operation, Inspection, and Maintenance training on the GPN10 000 000 000 TU pantograph for mainline railway vehicles.
The structured two-day program gathered maintenance engineers and technicians from multiple depots across Turkey, responsible for operation and upkeep of pantograph systems.
The training combined classroom-based theoretical instruction with practical work performed directly on the locomotive.
Special attention was given to preventive maintenance activities such as carbon strip inspection, functional checks, and routine visual inspections, as these steps directly impact contact quality with the overhead line and overall fleet availability.
The training was delivered on behalf of Minel Global Engineering by trainers Hüsnü Altay and Zvonko Milovanović, who shared technical expertise gained through work on multiple international railway projects.
