We are proud to share that Minel Global Engineering is continuing its strong partnership with Türasaş in Turkey for the E5000 electric mainline locomotive project (TSI‑certified). Our pantographs, previously supplied in 2023, are now again chosen for this crucial program, underscoring trust built over years of collaboration.
The E5000 locomotive, developed by TÜRASAŞ with support from the TÜBİTAK RUTE institute, is a next‑generation, TSI‑certified 5 MW electric locomotive capable of 140 km/h, intended for both freight and passenger use. Minel is supplying standard railway pantographs for the units under this contract.
Our continuing work on this project reflects not just a business opportunity but the deepening of technical trust and reliability in our solutions. We value long‑standing partnerships, and our work with Türasaş since the early test pantographs of 2019 through to full production in 2023 and beyond shows that consistency, quality, and mutual respect count.
