We have successfully completed another First Article Inspection (FAI) – this time conducted by CRRC, one of the world’s leading railway manufacturers from China.
With the official signing of the contract with CRRC Changchun Railway Equipment Serbia d.o.o. Belgrade last December, it has been confirmed that Minel Global Engineering consistently meets the demanding criteria required for cooperation with the world’s largest industrial partners.
The FAI conducted on this occasion included:
- Product quality inspection
- Production system inspection
- Welding process verification – a highly specialized procedure involving detailed review of all certifications, tests, and product appearance.
This last FAI is part of the project led by Andy Wang, General Manager of CRRC Changchun Railway Equipment Serbia d.o.o. Belgrade, and Lindar Yang, who will oversee project implementation in Serbia over the next five years.
The collaboration between Minel Global Engineering and CRRC will play an important role in the continued development and modernization of Serbia’s railway infrastructure.
It represents a significant milestone, especially considering China’s technological leadership in railway development. CRRC’s latest CR450 high-speed trains are designed for commercial operation at around 400 km/h and have achieved test speeds of up to 450 km/h, setting new global benchmarks in railway technology.
This is an achievement demonstrating Minel’s production excellence, operational reliability, and compliance with the highest industry standards reinforcing our commitment to quality and long-term international cooperation.
