We are proud to announce that Minel Global Engineering is further strengthening its partnership with Türasaş, supplying 90 pantographs for 45 new locomotives in the ongoing E5000 electric mainline locomotive program (TSI-certified).
This latest contract builds on our history of successful collaboration from initial testing units in 2019, through full production in 2023, and now into the next phase.
The E5000 locomotive, developed by TÜRASAŞ with TÜBİTAK RUTE, is a next-generation, 5 MW electric unit, designed for both freight and passenger transport, delivering up to 140 km/h. Our reliable standard railway pantographs again play a crucial role in this iconic project.
