Minel Global Engineering is proud to support the modernization of public transport in Naples, Italy, through its long-term partnership with Bozankaya A.Ş.and the City of Naples.
In 2025, the City of Naples and Azienda Napoletana Mobilità (ANM) selected Bozankaya to deliver 20 low-floor trams, marking a key investment in safer, more comfortable, and more sustainable urban mobility.
As part of this project, Minel is supplying pantographs for the new tram fleet, further expanding and strengthening our cooperation with Bozankaya on international rolling stock projects.
At the end of January, Minel Global Engineering held a dedicated technical training session in Naples, with participants from ESION S.R.L., ANM, and Bozankaya representatives, focused on the operation and maintenance of Minel’s pantograph systems in real operating conditions.
On-site training like this is an important step in ensuring high availability and reliability of our pantographs throughout their lifecycle.
With this project, Minel’s components will help power a new generation of trams that will soon be carrying passengers across Naples, contributing to more efficient and sustainable public transport in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities.
